Privacy Policy

Nerd Guild helps players and game masters track characters, guilds, campaigns, notes, maps, and social activity. We collect only the data needed to operate the service, provide account access, and deliver shared campaign functionality.

What we collect

• Account details required for sign-in and session management.
• Guild, campaign, character, note, and map records created by your account.
• Social relationship data such as friendships, requests, blocks, and presence status.
• Operational telemetry needed to detect abuse, maintain reliability, and provide support.

How we use it

Data is used to authenticate your account, maintain shared campaign state, show relevant social and guild activity, support product features, and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and deletion

Accounts can request export or deletion from the in-product account settings. Deletion requests are recoverable for a defined grace period and then permanently purged according to our platform retention process. Shared guild and campaign history may be retained where necessary for the functioning of group play, as documented in the account deletion policy.

Security

We protect accounts using strong authentication, encrypted session cookies, least-privilege access, and monitored infrastructure. Sensitive uploaded assets and imports are stored with controlled access and lifecycle cleanup rules.
